Valley Brook Services is a locally owned and operated, full-package excavation company based in Wampum, Pennsylvania. We go from clearing to site prep to underground utilities and grading, we dig a lot of foundations, we haul our own stone, and we do commercial site work. That is why our logo reads Site Work, Utilities, Trucking.
Most of what we do right now is for area home builders, where our crews dig more than 250 houses a year, along with commercial site work. We want to do more of the larger site, development and stormwater work, and more bigger residential projects.

Started in 2014 by owner Eric Moscipan
Eric Moscipan was born and raised on a farm and has always had a passion for running equipment, which led to the career he is in now. In 2014, while he was in college, he bought a Toro Dingo to make some side money, and he posted ads offering trenching and other small jobs. That work led to landscaping and retaining walls, and then to excavation, when a family that owned an excavation company needed help and he started subbing for them.
From there the company grew organically. Eric started knocking on doors, added crews and added equipment. Today Valley Brook has nearly 20 employees, roughly 45 to 50 pieces of equipment including trucks and pickups, and a mechanic on staff.
Eric likes to have nice equipment, and it shows in how we run: well-kept machines, our own dump trucks and a crew that takes the work seriously.
We are a locally owned and operated company, and we value honesty and integrity in everything we do. Eric strives for craftsmanship, for finishing projects in a timely manner and for keeping an open line of communication with every customer.
We take great pride in our work and in the relationships we make along the way. Our goal has always been to provide quality, dependable service that stays on budget.
