Trucking & Aggregate Hauling

Our own dump trucks haul our own stone and aggregate to the job.

Trucking is part of how Valley Brook Services works. We run our own tri-axle dump trucks and haul our own stone and aggregate, so the material a job needs gets to the site on our schedule. It is one of the reasons we can offer full-package excavation.

Our Own Dump Trucks

Our trucks are red, and the dump trucks run a white cab with a red bed. Our fleet includes tri-axle dump trucks, and our drivers work alongside our excavation crews. Having our own trucks means we are not waiting on an outside hauler when a job needs stone or has to move material.

Stone and Aggregate Hauling

We haul our own stone and aggregate to the jobs we work on. Stone is used all over a site, from a stable base under a pad or driveway, to the bedding around utility pipe and the material behind a foundation. Hauling it ourselves keeps those steps on schedule.

Trucking Supports Everything Else We Do

Trucking sits behind site preparation, foundation work, utilities and grading. If you have a hauling need tied to a project, tell us about it and we will tell you whether it fits.

How Hauling Fits the Schedule

On an excavation job, material has to arrive when the crew needs it, not before and not after. Stone for a base, pipe bedding or backfill has to be on site at the right moment, and dirt that is dug often has to leave. Running our own trucks lets us line those loads up with the excavators and the rest of the work, and adjust when the weather or the schedule changes.

Hauling Material Off the Site

Excavation does not stop at digging. Soil from a foundation, a pond, a utility trench or a graded lot has to go somewhere, and on a tight residential lot there is usually no room to pile it. Our trucks are loaded right beside the excavators, so the dirt keeps moving and the work area stays clear for the next step. The same goes for debris from demolition, which our dump trucks can haul away so the site is ready for what comes next.

Hauling for New Home and Septic Jobs

New home sites need a lot of material delivered on a steady schedule: stone for the driveway and pad base, backfill around a foundation, and bedding around utility lines. Septic installs need stone and fill delivered and excess soil removed as the system goes in. When the same company is digging and hauling, those deliveries are planned around the actual work in the ground, not around an outside trucking company's availability.
